    LS1 swapped imports are great. Ditch the boat anchor VG30DETT for a more reliable and efficient aluminum V8.

    IIRC the TT models weight ~150lbs more than the NA cars and I imagine that with this motor swap you might lose more weight than that, not mention the lower center of gravity. That looks much much easier to work on than the stock TT motor.

    I need to get myself a slicktop 300Z and do this swap.

    Sweet, I like it. Not a huge fan of the 300ZX, but def. a fan of unique swaps in my book

    wonder how much a swap like this will cost plus the twin turbo,s wht u think IA more than 10grand. an after the swap wont the car be bascially a super car like a lambo or ferri killer

    Super car? It is not like you are sticking a LS7 in a super light chasis(think rx7), the weight is still there regardless. Despite to what people think the majority of weight is in the suspension and body, not exactly in the motor even though the V8 is indeed lighter.

    so with a built ls1 plus the twin turbo kit wht kind of supercars do you think the z will be able to give a hard time?

    you can do that with the original, already twin turboed nissan block lol with built everything lol.
