Its funny how people start rumors to make themselves feel better. I was registered I'm the one that ran the 1:05.4. Doug wanted to drive his car on track which is understandable since it is his.

lol calm down grasshopper i was just asking. theres no doubt that the car was fast and driven well. just wondering what the deal with that was.

neovas are a good tire for what they are. theres ALOT faster street tires, but they wont last near as long.

they arent bad at all on a lighter car like a civic or miata, but under alot of weight they get greasy.

by street tire i mean a tire that has actual tread. lol. bridgestone re-01s, toyo ra-1s/r888s, hancook whatevers. as far as a REASONABLE street tire, azenis rt-615s are GREAT tires but only in dry conditions. i know technically hoosier r6's are "street legal"... but really...? lol

RE01s no so much, R888s are pretty good and I haven't tested them back to back, 615s aren't even close. As far as real street tires go I would say Michelin PS2s are the only other thing I would run.

The 888 is pretty much a track day only tire kinda like the a048
