True but it makes some cars not look what color they are. I know Alex, and any good photog, is always trying to improve. Just a bunch of people saying "sick pics" doesn't help. Just providing some C&C.Originally Posted by Professor Swagger
On the last shot from the window you wanna watch out for halo'ing. Some of the buildings have a little of that going on. Not too bad though. The first city shot I would have cropped it so only the cool building with the foggy top was in the lower left![]()

I know you want to know about improving your photography and everyone in this thread is going gaga over your photos, but as part of constructive criticism. Your photos are sharp, and exposed well, but your white balance completely ruins every picture with a retarded yellow color cast. Learn how to set custom whitebalance as auto WB SUCKS under streetlamps and floodlights.
^^ Yeah, I drew a frame of a man running on each fan blade. That is him running at idle
I thnk it's slight camera movement between exposures on the HDR proccess. A simple polarizing filter can cut through the glare.Originally Posted by james

Around the buildings I am almost positive he did a 3 or 5 shot HDR. Or a single shot and went a little crazy with the Shadow/Highlight tool. The buildings just look like they are 'glowing' and not natural. It gives the feel to the photo but I just don't personally think it is all it could be.
With that being said I think maybe a single shot long exposure would have worked better.
I agree with the poster above. At very least shoot in RAW so you can choose/fine tune your WB at a later date.

Alex - nice meeting you man, it was nice of you to come out and take pictures despite the wet weather. My car was pretty dirty - you made it looks pretty clean lol.
Who's boosted G35 is that in picture 2-3? You have some BIG ass brakes in that thing! It'd be great if you could PM/post some more info on that car. Thanks.
I was lazy, lol the only one I messed with white balance on was the one of the stock WRX under the parking structure. It was my first time shooting under orange lights, and I really didn't care to fix it.Originally Posted by 87 Turbo II
Actually since you told me, I ONLY shoot in Raw. The 2nd shot of the buildings was put through photomatix from ONE RAW picture, and I didn't like it so the rest are done in Photoshop.Originally Posted by DinanM3atl
Ha.. I see you decided to shoot the buildings. Getting better though for sure

seems like the buildings are all anyone cared about in the end. I don't like any of the pics besides the Z06 and the G35.Originally Posted by jcbe34
Very nice pictures!!
So is it an hotel place or something? or is it like an office of some sort?

GT-R and Z06 killing it. That said, this is LOVELY, seems almost Gothom City like. Great work
