Pictures from me converting my car to Right Hand Drive
Before the wire tuck and still Left Hand Drive

    Beginning the tear down

Starting to drill out the spot welds on teh firewall

    The firewall removed

    Right Hand Drive Firewall Installed

Now, the welding, bondo and sanding of the engine bay

Primer was sprayed in my garage

The car was towed to a shop to get the paint, this is it when it returned

Mock up of my brake lines

    Installed engine

    Test fitting some pieces

Baught some new tires for the car

And here it is almost done

Thought that some may find the pictures interesting.

Stop being jealous! Anyone can build a car to be proud of with a little determination.

You still have to tell me who has that as there signature.

So, from the looks, you have cut your front clip off and now you are rewelding the RHD clip on?? Is that correct??

Sorta. I drilled the spot welds out of the firewall and removed that. As far as the front frame rails, they stay. The JDM front (fenders, lights, bumper and hood) is able to bolt on with just the radiator support being swapped. The JDM radiator support is already on in the pictures.

FUCK THAT!!!! I think i have alot of patience but thats pushing it. I dnt like working on the same car for too long. I replaced me core support a few years ago and that wasnt too bad. But i got another car because i didnt want to pull my dash to put in a heater core. If my dash comes out i prolly wont put it back in. LOL!!!

Haha! Never said it was easy. I was very determined to finish it because the deeper I got into it the more my friends and family doubted the car ever going back together made me stay even more focused on finishing it.

well then, u are just like me. with that kinda motivation i would finish it too.

U should make a progress thread. Like how the car used to sit, teardwn, putting it back together, and how it sits now. Those are the best threads ever. I do alot of wrk but i dnt have a digi cam and im too busy trying to get r dun that i 4get to take pics. lol!!!

Ill just throw some more in here. I'm not huge into cluttering up forums with multiple threads of the same car. Seems like a lot of teh local forums in New England consist of 10 cars and 100 threads based on the same cars. Haha the classic...."Post a picture of your slammed car," "Post a picture of your wheels," "Post a picture of your rear spoiler." Haha irritating.

Check back in a couple of minutes. Ill go search through my photobucket and take some of each stage.

Very observant. Yeah when I baught the car 3 years ago it was a 2001 LS Automatic. I baught it for the mileage. But it took a lot of work to get it here.
