    Default Toyota Tundra TR concept..

Found this on the same website as the other stuff i posted...

Here is what is said about it...

Toyota's tribute to the lightweight, high-horsepower American muscle cars of the '60s and '70s is the Tundra TR Concept, an unassuming regular cab rig with a matte black paint job and steel wheels. Underneath, it's a pavement-eating monster.

"What we tried to do here is create the ultimate sleeper," said Warren Victor, Toyota's project manager for its SEMA trucks. "It's all performance. There's no cosmetics to it at all. If you have a look, though, not only does it have a TRD supercharger and a TRD lowering kit, it's got twin nitrous tanks mounted behind the front seats."

The roots-type supercharger boosts the Tundra's 5.7-liter V-8 from 381 horsepower to 504 hp and ups torque from 401 pounds-feet to 550 pounds-feet. The nitrous setup adds another 150 hp with each shot of gas.

"For under 30 grand, you've got a 600 to 650 horsepower vehicle," Victor said. "It's meant to go to Pomona (Raceway), where you can run the crap out of it and see what it can do."

    Specs:
    Tundra TR Concept Specs
2009 Toyota Tundra Regular Cab Tundra Grade 4X2 5.7-liter V-8

    TRD exhaust (ceramic coated black)

From a dig your probably right. From a roll tho... i think it would be a VERY fun truck. Unless you give it the juice at the start, then you'd be eating the tires til you got moving.

Ask Retro what happened between his 4x4 Diesel and my Tundra from a roll and a dig.

His truck in 4x4 high building boost vs. Tundra = Tundra by 1/2 truck to 100mph

    His truck in 4x4 high from a 30 roll vs. Tundra = Tundra by 1 1/2 - 2 trucks

This was a while ago considering I don't street race anymore.

That is the ugliest thing I've ever seen. It's also the most ridiculously cool ideas I've ever seen.

with the exception of the paint, you could build that truck EASY right now for less money. TRD blower is readily available now, and ive driven several reg cab 5.7 model trucks.
