HOT, I like it. Unique and not the norm you see these days.
So sick.
Love the car, but what's up with the rusted hood?

I like the wheels and stance, and thats about it.
But I respect the work and thought that went into it so I'm not going to bad mouth it.

clean as phuuuuuck! Saw it on BF a while ago. Definetly original!
I dig everything except the saggy roof rack. Cross rails need to be straight.
How to get it like that?Originally Posted by 2turbo4u

Peek-a-boo mofucka what now?!
Hey everyone,
The car is mine. I really appreciate all of the comments. It's certainly a love-or-hate car, and when guys like ya'll can appreciate what went into it, it's definitely redeeming.
Unfortunately, the other 50% out there seem to think it means I'm a gay emo goth kid.
At the end of the day, I don't care if people like my car or not; I built it for myself.
Anyways, enough BS. Thanks for the comments.
I'm in ATL semi-often, and as Halston said, I crash at his place when I'm in town.
The hood was achieved by grinding the paint off and soaking it in hydrogen peroxide and vinegar. It changes day-by-day which is pretty neat. Here's another pic of the hood in a different "pattern".
The car will be getting "changed" soon, but I'm sure you guys will still dig it.
Thanks again-

my boss has 2 e28s, one he bought from a customer at a smoking deal. its a really clean alpine white 87 535i, but has a few very small rust spots and minor imperfections.
his other car, he bought when it was 4 years old, its a red 85 535i (w/is spoiler and exhaust), and it is SUPER clean, it looks and is in near-new condition even though it has 274,xxx miles.
after all the purist old school bmw i see all day, your car is a wonder to me, it mixes interests of old school bimmer, rat rod betina, purpose built military equipment and super stance street car. PROPS!
i like your style.
I wanted to know why is the hood rusted, style, misfortune or what? My teg had an aftermarket hood (non primed) and I washed it and waxed it and it started to rust like the bimmer.Originally Posted by DinanM3atl
