pics are allright. They could use a small bump in exposure. Are these negative scans, or photo paper scans? Cause whoever did those on the photo paper could combat the darkness with a bit more time on the enlarger. Nice though, I don't wanna say film is harder, cause it really isn't too hard if you take your time, but it's definitely different.
^^ Yeah, I drew a frame of a man running on each fan blade. That is him running at idle
project for school. what i did i did on purpose.
Umm photoshoot? shots are ok but need to watch your comp on a lot of them. I agree with turbo, they could use a bump in exposure. What was the requirements for the school project?
LOL, i barely caught myself just in time before trying to view the EXIF data on the 4-wheeler shot.![]()
I blacked out halfway through the thread.
Damnit.
Does your camera come in color?
most schools are too cheap to buy color processing chemicals/film/ and enlargers. Also to the O.P.,if you did everything on purpose, it doesn't mean it's right. Nowadays any high school girl can pop in a roll of black and white film, but suddenly they think that this automatically means every pic on the roll is artistic. I gave you constructive criticism, and you were all defensive, just try listening. I said they're all right, but they could be better, a lot better.Originally Posted by Ed

blondebabe, your pictures imo look pretty good.
Photos that look old school have always had a spot in my heart. Not sure why. Ugly girls on the other hand fall prey to my onslaught of cyber abuse. Welcome to the club.
nice photos.
that car is amazing.
-does your civic have fat 5`s with the inside painted pink..
saw that one day leaving my school/316... if so very nice (HIDS are sexy)
cars
-98 boosted ej8 (baby boost) -traded
-97 ek gsr 5lug itr-(nunu) - traded
- 97 Ej8 greddy boosted b16 w/ goodies - (sasha) traded
- 02 maxima 3.5 6spd - (maxi) - current
The first three pics were a bit dark to see all the features. I really love negatives style photos, they have that faded look. Other than the first three pics, nice pics.
thank you guys for the compliments, and f*ck you ppl who talk shit. im not in high school, the project was just to do some quick shots for a final project. i know im over exposed, i turned in my final prints, so i only had my practice prints to scan. yes we have color but we are only allowed to use b&w.
jr4mny-yeah, fat 5's w pink and pink hid's, gwinnett tech, thanx!
and i REALLY did NOT mean to put it in this forum

haha. first of all i really didnt single you out...did i? and second of all thank you for your criticism. i do understand that the only was anyone can get better is by criticism and practice, i know i need some work, i would never say im perfect, because i know im not. im sorry you think im a bitch, but thats your opinion. and yes i did post these to see what people thought. if im taking pics of cars i want "car ppl" and the photographers to let me know what to work on. i only said i DID know that i was over exposed, and also said these were just my practice prints. again, thank you for your crticism.
well it was. first subject was cars, second was motion. when my teacher refers to these as photoshoots when i am shooting i just tend to repeat what she tells me. sorry that you dont agree with me.
a couple of rolls of film, i didnt post them all. why in the hell do you have a comment for EVERY SINGLE post? and so what if im wrong, hey you have surely been wrong about plenty of things, trust me, ive seen all your posts.
Your math is just as bad as your picture taking.Originally Posted by blondebabe36

do you ever shut up? or you ALWAYS have to have the last word?? i dont need your stupid comments, and unless you have some criticism that i might want to hear, go find some other damn thread to post some smartass comments on.
Those pictures suck... Take it how ever you want to.
First off they are underexposed not over, unless you are talking about your clothes. Second when someone gives you feedback do not come off like you are Ansel Adams. There are some on here that can give you great feedback but with an attitude you will not get the feedback you are looking for. Third, like I said watch your composition.Originally Posted by blondebabe36

they are over exposed, i went too long with the wrong filter. and i was open a few stops more than i should have been. im learning. i only started doing film in sept. its okay that people are brutal, no one is worse than my teachers. but thank you for your input.

Only thing over exposed is your eyebrows in that avatar pic.Originally Posted by blondebabe36
