    Default Import Face Off - Montgomery, AL Documentary! Some NWS Mat. 11-9-2008 56k Good Luck!

    A small caravan of Veritek (Gold Lexus LS400) and me (CarbonGS - Black and Carbon Lexus GS300) left Atlanta, GA Saturday morning around 11:30AM.
    We also had our resident camera man, Kevin Bandy, on board to get some rolling shots of the action on the way down to Trussville, AL where we were to stay the night at a friend's house.
    Mark Naylor AKA Automan definitely was a great host!
    I huge thanks goes out to him and his wife for opening up their house to the three of us.
    Also a big thanks goes out to http://www.bandydesign.com/ for coming with us to take pictures!
    Here are the pics that we got on the way down to Alabama.

    We made a pit stop in Alabama for some shots and switching of cars so Bandy could get rolling shots of the Lexus LS400.

    Then we arrived at Casa De Naylor! Who has a 23 MPH speed limit



    It is a very beautiful home! We even got VIP parking. Both of our cars were put in the garage!





    It was a very tight squeeze though!









    We then chilled at the house for a little while, went fishing, hit up Red Lobster, then came back and crashed!

    The next morning we met up with some Alabama peeps for some breakfast. Here we are prepping our cars for the ride.

























    Clean!





    Here I am trying to get out of his driveway without scraping = No such luck!







    Then we rolled out to Montgomery, AL from there.
    Here are a few pictures that we took prior to rolling out!

    Arrived at Import Face Off in about 1.5 hours. There was a line to get in.





















    We then set up the cars and took a look around to see what else was going on.

    That looked like a lot of fun, congratz Tony! Nice job on the pics! I couldn't but help laughing when those other girls attempted to model with the cars. Some of the pics I was like WFT are they doing with their arms...lol Then Toya stepped in to show them how it was done! Congrats on the Win Toya, not like you had much competition tho

    cant believe i missed this thread, thought i was the only person other than the elite guys from ia that went. didnt want to post my pics because they really werent that great.

    yes, that is fawk_you, as she rode down with me, and rode home as the 3rd place winner in the hot body comp.

    the silver supra was a friend of lea annes, i believe it ran a 9.2 before the day was over.

    had a much better time at faceoff than motorsport nationals, well worth the 2.5 hour drive.
    86 MR2 4age, 86 MR2 20V, 84 MR2 3lc RHD, 01 MR2 Spyder, 92 SE V6 5spd Camry.

    so maybe i have an mr2 problem.....
