just pull it off... it's supposed to be one of those things that allows a better air/fuel ratio. it's a plastic box with a resistor it in. you'll have to reconnect the wires that that is spliced into (should be your air temp sensor), but your car will run better without it. if it does fuck something up then make sure your wires are all together still and then reset the ECU
