    not too crazy bout the HDR, the only one that really seems like you used it was the one of db4lyfe's car. still nice shots tho, and i LOVE your car. i was at the pep boys meet and heard you pull off and remembered it sounded incredible!

    pics are good but def. not good examples of HDR.

    sorry you didnt like them, these were all taken at night so they arent going to look like daytime HDR photos and this is my first attempt but what exposures do you usually use for HDR? i was kinda guessing on these...

    You should only use 3 exposures, maybe -3,0,+3. The best HDR pictures are taken when the lighting is the most dramatic and you cannot properly expose an image in one shot, IE dusk and dawn.

    yuck, I would not call that a good example of HDR, the picture is waaay overdone and poorly edited... This on the otherhand...

    Dusk and dawn is precisely when HDR is not needed, unless you just want to exaggerate the skies contrast. It's when you have extreme differences in lighting you need to expose for those areas accordingly. It's generally only used when you can't capture a scene with a single shot. All those shots the OP posted only look like the levels were extremely manipulated.

    haha even a $30 tripod will help if your not using an extremely heavy lens

    heck i bought a decent Sunpak from Wolf camera for $60 and until i get som L glass it will work just fine
