Kit car Ferrari's and Lamborghini's are generally made from stretched Fiero frames/chassis. They drive and handle like shit. There is craftsmanship involved with any hand-built car, it may not be the most comfortable car to everyone over lengthy trips but the the sound of a Lamborghini V12 will make your hairs stand on end. You won't get that from a GM V6.
The V8 conversion has come a long way though. A transversely mounted V8 just like Cadillac has been doing for the past 40 years...only it's in the rear. You can even use the new G6 transmission with them verses the original Fiero POS.
At the end of the day who are you fooling? Can you actually look at and admire a fiberglass kit car? I'd be ashamed to wash it... Domestic craftsmanship and mass production quality control, no race bred history, no nothing.
A turd with a pretty gel coat paint job. But hey, at least you got laid by some dumb bitch that doesn't know the difference right?
