its really easy get the clay bar kit from autozone/walmart comes with lubricant and a clay bar. ($20) wash car down (when washing don't scrub the car down, no need) you dont need to dry the car. Then spray little area with provided lubricant and use the clay bar in a back and forth motion, if there is a lot of stuff on that panel you will hear a little grinding noise, do it until the noise stops. and then move to another panel. use as much lubricant as needed, dont do it dry. and when you look at your clay bar and its really black, knead the black into the claybar so you have color. and then wash your car again, dry. polish wax/sealant. I like to wash my car after claybar and then use a cleaner wax and then a clear coat safe polish and a wax.
I also like to do my door jambs.
