I followed my buddy who had a porsche 911 targa and I passed him going through the mountains in my R. yea they may not be fast in a straight line but they do better than many things especially a maxima and mustang on a track anyday.

Take high hp boosted 240 around a track and it'll completely redefine how you think of your ITR. As the ITR tries so hard to be a sports car, but it isn't.

You think 240's [S13/14] are quick on a road course? For being such a common and cheap car why do you think you will rarely, if ever, see them at any of the pro or club racing events then? I've never once seen a 240sx in an endurance race either. Oh yeah, 240/260z > 280z any day.

It was nice when it came out, but it's an Integra. I mean, I'm not saying that I don't like the car cuz I do, but all this nut worship is a little out of hand. I've beat PLENTY of built ITR's (and GSR's for what it's worth) with my Neon that I used to have. I don't think any less of the car. Still a nice car, but C'MON!!!! And I had a NEON!!! Yeah, I could beat quite a bit, it was something else. BUUUUUUUUUUUUUT, it was still a Neon. Sure, it was the DOHC that held SCCA track records from 95-99, but I was on it like that. Hell, my Mazda6 has some track fame, but it's still just a sporty looking family sedan as far as I'm concerned. There aren't too many popular cars that don't have ANY claim to fame. You gotta sell'em some kinda way.

And if blaxima or nissantuner or whoever doesn't wanna mod his car for speed, what's wrong with that. At least he acknowledges that. IMO, he's better equipped than some other "misguided" members. How many of you actually TRACK YOUR CAR!!! I know plenty of Honda owners who might very well be able to dominate a road course, but whose car will never see a track..even though it looks and feels like it was built for one.
