The lower moldings are not smooth or painted from the factory so for sake of ease, VW decided to have the screws attach the lower panel to the door that way. They PULL the rocker panel in slightly. It is not noticeable at all if you keep those the ugly rough black plastic that they are OEM, however if you smooth them out to paint them at certain angles it becomes VERY VERY noticeable as seen here. I am working on getting a set of "caps" that go over those down to the side skirts that will cover that area up since as im sure you can see when you notice it it looks pretty ugly. So sorry for the long winded explination, but that is pretty much what the deal is with those.

Great coverage as usual and the Passat is looking dope as hell with the new wheels.
The manager of this Butler Location is a great guy and owns a few BMWs. 3 years ago he invited SELOC out as we have a great relationship with him and its become a nice BMW/Lexus gathering and there are always some other great cars out there from Porche, Audi, Range Rover etc.
The GT-R and GT3 made me crap my pants!!!

Wow...looked like a fun meet for sure.
A lot of the same shots/cars though...I got bored about half way down.
