    Default Our Audi S5 and others. Pictures don't do it justice.

    I can't believe my mom was #3 in the South for this car.. Never have I ever bragged about my family members cars but THIS IS THE CAR I WANT TO OWN and i've never felt that way about anyone's car in my family/in-direct family and there have been some cool ones...The lines are amazing, it's presence is that of an R8 or something. It's a car that retails for around 60k and looks around 100,000k. Audi out did themselves again and the photo's don't do it enough justice
    Since the purchase we've been offered almost 10k more than what we paid and $5,000 to let a magazine test it for a weekend. All of it we turned down. This is the best looking/feeling car anyone in my family has ever owned. I'd like to congradulate my mom for trusting me when I ordered this for her. She got it sight un-seen like her S4 and this is 100x the
    replacement.


    Is the S5 one of the most beautiful coupes in the world?

    I got a chance to drive one that was on the showroom floor at the audi dealership off satilite. Bad ass car's, I'd buy one if I had the money. Props to your mom for having a sick car

    Probably!!!! Well...I got in deep shi.t when I was younger because I took her S4 out on Road Atlanta without permission...LOL! I still laugh about it but she was really really really mad that I tried to hide it. I was 16 and I had the car during a track weekend. You could guess that I didn't get to drive it for awhile but I got to see every ounce of it's limits.
    I get to take a lot of different cars out Sunday mornings at quiet time at Road Atlanta because mine is to loud (friends cars, parents cars etc.), so i'll probably take this fat puppy out eventually. I took our close family friends SL550 out..That was interesting.

    Lucky. We think the same. I had an Alpine White M3 vert purchased spring time and sure enough I see yours at a meet some months later. I'd also really like own one of these for myself.

    Me too! and she's no poser, she drives the crap out of this thing. It's hysterical. I learned some of my best on the road/defensive driving tactics from my mom when I was first learning how to drive

    Amen. We tried the 335, E92 M3 (she doesn't like M3's), C63 and IS-F but this one is just so unique and sexy.

    My boss got the new S5 back in January. It is a very nice car for sure. I have driven it a few times and it is a blast to drive. Here are a few pics of it with my car.

    I saw and HEARD the one at the Sattelitte Blvd store, it was at the QT, there was a serivce guy gasing it up. He tried to sell it to me, but I definately looked and Ewwd's and Ahhhh'd.... Definately a must have car if you can afford it.

    I'd give both nuts for one! There's no doubt in my mind that it will be my next car, though preferably with the 3.0T Supercharged engine for increased modability.

    nice, drove one down to the V meet a few mos ago and about totaled it on the way back, i was very impressed with it's stopping abilities, the civic in front of me did not see a car that was dead in the HOV lane and she locked them up and slid around the car, i was able to stop before plowing the car, i could almost swear i felt the rear tire pick upon braking! then i was affraid i was going to get hit while waiting for an opportunity to merge over.

    Not to hijack the thread, but Ive got one for sale
