    Thanks! I'm down to one battery now so had to spread the shots out throughout the day and my IS lens drains it quick...luckily was able to get a charge at the Patron booth to get me through the rest of the day :boobies:

    The LENS is the most important thing...camera bodies are considered disposable. I'm using a Canon XTI with a Canon 300mm f/4.0L IS lens, all shot from public areas. The close up paddock shots were using a Canon 50mm f/1.8. Any of the consumer grade Canon DSLR's are more than sufficient for 95+% of the photographers out there. If you prefer Nikon then they work just as well too or even better in some cases, their accessories and high end lenses seem to be a bit more expensive though...

    your shots are really good, what did you shoot them with? im having so much trouble upgrading to a better camera, i cant figure out what would best fit me

    Man, i shoot with a kodak z740. I think its extremely out dated, but I dont even know if they make lens for my camera. How can i find out? I want a pretty good one... maybe fish eye too? Help me if ya can brother.
