i thought this was IA's slammed cars...? not H-T's cars...???

IA members don't have slammed cars for the most part. They just think they do.

AND WHY? WHY would you want a car that low? the only one ive seen in here is the EF from H-T and i dont even like it too much. lowering a car that much ruins handling by eliminating suspension travel, destroys shocks, ruins the ride quality, and destroys the bottom of the car. sacrificing THAT much for looks???

I've done it for 20 years. For the first 15, though, we're talking actual slam Not this this "I lowered my car so it's dumped" crap. We're talking no springs at all, riding on struts and tires. But that was before performance, so I had a reason for it. It was slow and low for me growing up in the lowrider world. Later, QD.

well, most cars from that era werent really "performance cars" anyways. now that i think about it though, neither is a honda civic. lol.

my car is lowered a little and i wanna lower it more, but not what youre talking about. theres a thread over at clubroadster of slammed miatas, and they look cool. but fast on a track of autox? nah. i just dont see a point in doing something that not only hurts youre cars performance but is bad for the car in general.
