its a conversion... not my taste... but a clean choptop i guess...
it was a shop conversion. they did 600 and some change. i think it looks great and as if it came from teh factory. ive never been a fan of convertible Zs, cause they all just look hidious with the tops up. but the one pic i saw of thsi with the top up kinda made it look like a Vette
It's well done, but definitely not as good looking as the standard t-tops.
They need to lower that sht!

it's a straman convertible...came as a very rare dealer option for the z31..only 352 of them were created

Yeah, it does definitely need to be lowered.
It's clean, and well-done, but it ends up making the back half of the car resemble the Foxbody year Mustangs...
On the other hand, I've seen some convertible/chop-top 240-260-280Z's that looked pretty awesome.
from the back it reminds me of an older convertable cavalier.....
Lose that 3rd brakelight and drop it on some decent wheels and you have something very sweet.
