    Default 89 mustang project

    has 82,000 miles
    5 speed
    runs good
    new kuhmo tires

    needs-
    flat black paint on rest of car
    rotors
    brakes
    interior work
    passenger side door
    rims need shined
    check catalytic converter
    and possibly new clutch
    i have the lights for the front so no worries for that

    any ideas? let me know

    im finishing the paint today. and i need to shine the other wheels haha. but ill be at some meets when its finally ready

    Looks to be pretty decent car! 82k miles....Not bad for a 89 mustang. Have fun with it bro!

    That poor car is going through a identity crisis. The front anr rear bumpers are telling it that it's a LX and the side skirts are screaming GT. Poor thing is bi-polar.

    Yeah its sad. i gotta fix that up. Should i get front and rear ground effects for a gt or take off the side skirts?

    how much did you pay for the side skirts? or did those come with all that other stuff you bought for it?

    it came with all the stuff. so pretty much i got lights, a door, side skirts, a center console, new shift knob and cover all for 90$

    Um, well I used to have a 84' SVO and loved the more LX look and then I got a GT convertible and love it except the rear bumper, so i swapped the rear bumper out for a Cobra rear bumper and then it was perfect. Either way they look good, but I lean more towards the GT look.

    IMO you should never try to make a car something that it isn't. I would take the Gt crap off and start getting the body ready for paint. I like the Gt's and I like the LX's but making a GT out of an LX just kills it for me.

    Good luck and if ya ever need help/advice/parts lemme know. I have a little bit of experience with the fox bodies.

    $300 was a great deal BTW.
