    As far as the 1 series..people are correct, in handling it's way better than the 335 (though I also agree that it's weird looking) and in fact, it's a near equal for the E46 M3.

    This mostly has to do with 2 things:
    a) Less weight...same power in a few hundred pound lighter car
    b) the sport package 1 series have an LSD from the factory whereas the 3 series (except, of course, the M3) do not. In fact, it's not even an option.

    I agree that its an excessive price for that car and those mods...HOWEVER...those of you NOT buying carbon fiber hoods on ebay can attest to how much really high quality carbon fiber pieces cost.

    A good quality carbon fiber hood for my car is in excess of $1400 street price before shipping. You can get a cheap ebay one for a civic for $400 shipped.

    I also don't think this dealer deals with modded cars all that much, as they should know that a bunch of carbon fiber and a set of ugly wheels does not equal to 15 grand in mods.
