Here are the graphs from the tuning last night. The original plan for this build was to have a fun all around car that Ben could take to multiple functions and have fun with it. We could have made more power by choosing different parts but lots of unusable power doesn't always make a fast or fun car. I am very happy with the way this turned out and think it will serve Ben well.
First graph is wastegate boost. I went with only a 6psi spring so that we could keep the power down a little for things like autocross and mountain runs.
Next graph is low boost setting at 12psi. This can be used for track days on smaller courses.
This is the high boost setting at 17psi. We could make a little more on pump gas but this was good enough for the break in tune. This can be used for highway pulls, drag racing, or larger road courses.
This is just a comparison of Ben's setup to another GSR that we tuned. The red graph is a GSR with rods and pistons, stock head, stock cams, and aftermarket intake manifold (just like Ben's setup). The red graph is a Neukin ramhorn manifold with a SC34 turbo at 18psi.
Would love to see what this setup would do with a "real collector" on the manifold.![]()
