60's - the 1.5 liter limit exist in Formula 1.
So what do you do?
You make a 1.5 liter V12.....An engine which many say is what Lamborghini used to make their great V12.
It gets even more extreme in motorcycle racing.
So the 500cc championship for grand prix bikes is set at 500cc....Obviously.
And all the winning bikes are two strokes but you want to stike with a 4 stroke. And there is a limit of only 4 cylinders.
So what do you do?
You make a 4 cylinder with oval pistons, 8 valves per cylinder and 32 vales overall.
