    Default "old school" project

so here's my newest project, it's a 1960 chevy bel air fo-do that has been in the family since it was brand new. it's gonna be a rat rod project, keeping the original 283 with the powerglide transmission. it's definately been a long time coming for this car to be back on the road, seeing as how it's been sitting for over 20 years. i'll keep everyone updated as it slowly progresses.

Cause this car seems that its body isnt in bad condition. The paint even looks decent in a few places.

Well since you claim its been in the family since brand new, I'd figured you would want to Restore it... But its your car and decision! Me personally, I'd find something in way worse condition to start a "Rat Rod" project, since that is the whole idea... Something rusted up and such. But G/l on it and keep us updated.

and everyone else, i'm not worried about the value of the car, i'm not planning on getting rid of the car... ever. i'm planning on keeping the car in the family, just like it has been for the last 48 years.

Thats gonna be sick no matter what. I say keep the body like it is, and get the motor running strong, and throw on some sick wheels on it. Kinda rat rod.
