SouthSideImports.net was in full force this Saturday for the 3rd Annual "In Memory of Rebekah Davis" Benefit for St. Jude car show. A special thanks goes out to all the members who made it out to this event to support the cause as well as the team! Congrats to all the winners as well as the team as a whole! Best Team FTW!!! Thanks goes out to Dan, Officer Jermain, and myself lol for taking pictures! I know Dan will have the video up soon of the rolling footage! For once my car was featured on video lol.
The morning started off really great! NOT! I got a phone call at 7AM from Dan of all people. I overslept and made a mad rush to the shop to get the car ready to roll. I was supposed to be at the shop ready to go at 7AM but it is ok because we ran into another little issue.
We headed off to the gas station to fill up our tanks and coolers. Then Dan realized that he forgot his driver’s license and his phone at the shop! Back we went to the shop.
Finally on the road again! Nick, as many of you know, is in Ohio with Phil racing his Evo! He dynoed the highest today at 701 WHP & 580 FT @ 38psi!!! Congrats to Nick! He was gracious enough to donate his BMW 335 to Dan to show for this event!
We got to the show a little later than everyone else but we did so without glitches! When we arrived everyone else had the tents, tv, Wii, Play Station, Rockband, etc… hooked up and ready to rock! It really was a nice setup! Here are some pictures of that!
Let’s do a quick run around. I kind of expected the Domestic side of things when I heard of the location of this show. Practically all of the imports came with SouthSideImports.
You are only cool if you have your arms crossed.
Jerry checking out fake white walls. This is such blasphemy!
The show finally ended at about 3:30 PM. Here are your winners! Notice I wanted the whole team in the picture because it is was a team effort! Congrats again guys!
We headed over to CiCi’s Pizza for an early dinner! Here are some pics from the caravan over to the pizza joint!
Once we were inside it was all craziness! Everything from little children flicking off game machines to jokes going out the window at high volumes!
Headed back to Andy’s and got back on the road again. This time we had Zeek join us in his gangsta 350Z! So here you go Zeek!
Some more of Nick’s 335
A crazy Old School ride on the highway!
We got back to the shop after dodging some traffic. Thanks again to everyone again for coming out to support the event and the SSI team! I hope to see some of you again soon!
