    Default Holden Coupe 60.... gto....g8 coupe...?

    Main Features:
    Pillarless coupe body;
    Derived from flexible GRWD platform;
    VE sedan wheelbase.

    Powertrain:
    6.0L V8 with Active Fuel Management, calibrated for E85 Ethanol fuel;
    6-speed manual transmission (SS specification);
    Engine oil cooler.

    The Coupe 60 was shown in Melbourne and is 60mm shorter than a standard VE Commodore. I doubt it will reach production.


    Now HSV will sell you this, with a 427 ci V8 from Z06

    Depends on first year sales for the G8, if theyre good, I dont see a reason why GM wouldn't bring the coupe. They're making a CTS coupe, though I'm not sure if it uses the same platform, so theyre not opposed to nice coupes I don't think. However, a G8 coupe could potentially cannabilize sales from the new Camaro, especially since the Holden interior is 10x better, imo.

    i doubt that,as hyped as the camaro is.....no new car in the market will bring down the sales of an american icon

    but i love the G8,and this car looks great too....

    I wish GM would just scrap the entire Chevy line-up and bring over Holdens.

    That would have made working at Hertz a whole lot more fun.

    its actually happening... almost all of the chevy vehicles minus the trucks share platforms with their aussie cousins..
