    Default -Some shots with the new D40-

    Well I just got my D40 and I am just trying to learn how to use it properly. So here are some pics of my rides and other random things. I love this camera so much! If anyone has any suggestions or pointers please help me out.

    This is a picture of the water pooring into my fish tank out of the filter return. Pretty cool lookin to me.

    ^Not really, I am gonna go and check that book out though. I wanted to do the vivid light filter to the first CRX picture, but I couldn't figure it out.

    superb pics! i like the 2nd pic of the fish tank!

    I also have a d40, and its a great camera! As far as tips...just keep shooting! looks great man!

    Work on how you are composing your photos. The photo below had SO much potential but failed because it wasn't composed correctly. Envision the shot first and how you want it to look rather than relying on your equipment to carry you.

    Nice pics, i love my D40 too! lol Really popular camera... Id say spend most of your time in M (manuel) mode. Thats what i've done so far... My pics turn out okay lol

    I would definitely start hosting your pics on Flickr. They have much better file integrity programs, and will make your pics look a whole better.
