you took some very nice pictures
thanx. im workin on my photography, going to school for it.
what do you shoot with?
Kodak Z712 IS. Im lookin for a camara with a better stabilizer, but i gotta get up the money.
you shoot with a tripod? if not, get one.
naw, my cam isnt one of those nice expensive ones, i start school in sept, so i need to find one thats got the tri-pod and all the whistles and bells, but i know theyer crazy expensive. you know where i can get one for a good price??
i paid 19.98 for my tripod at wallmart... just shoot with what you got and can afford, but im no professional... however i love photography.
well with these pics the stabilization was okay but the reaction time for the picture to save and then be able to take another was tooo slow, i need fast fast so i can just keep clicking for numerous pics. right now, ill take a pic, have to wait acouple secs b4 i can take another, so i miss half the drifting..... sux. i actually think my cam came from walmart, haha. ill check it out, thanx 4 the info!!![]()
bump it up so all the ppl can see tha nice cars
Im going to go against the grain and say the pics are over saturated, have too much contrast, the last 3/4's have improper white balance settings.
Other than that, its a good attempt, just work on the fundamentals. Theres no reason for someone to lie to you and say the photos are great because you are a girl. You do not need a tripod for these types of photos.
Sorry if I sounded like an ass.
thanx for your 2 cents. and im new at the photography, gotta start somewhere

You will find that DSLRs: hold their value [lenses, too], are quicker [as you mentioned, wanting to take continuous shots], take photos in a format, where editing possibilities are endless... Did I mention? --save up for a DSLR.
good luck and keep postin' up your pics.![]()
thanx man! good lookin out!![]()

Good attempt on the pics. As most guys stated, get a tripod, and save up for a DSLR.
But other than that, good job working with what you got. We all have to start somewhere.
thanx!

I know there are a few guys on here that would school 90 percent of the DSLR owners on here with a mid range point and shoot.
My comments are obviously being portrayed as demeaning, all Im trying to say is read the manual to your camera and start looking at the basics of forming, composing, and taking your photos correctly. It is true, you gotta start somewhere, but that should be your camera manual.
sheesh george...you're the meanest guy on here since sizzle. or what shizzle or whateverOriginally Posted by Nemesis

This is truth. I handed my Canon IS S2 down to my mums... set it to AV mode and 100 ISO. It already has IS built in. She has shaky hands. I told her not to change anything. Her pics have turned out 50% better. The rest is all up to photoshop, but she doesn't even know what that is.Originally Posted by Nemesis
Take a look at some of the pics Dirty Octopus takes. He has a good hold on fundamentals, as George mentioned. The rest is all done in PS.reps to you nemesis (not like you need it).
