As for the truck, as long as it's not raining or the tire isn't heated so much that oil comes to it's surface than it being bald doesn't really affect it, the grooves and tread are only for wet weather traction.

Guessing the accident was a result of either:
a) lifted in a turn after the rear end got light
b) Understeer due to improper use of braking and throttle

...either of which could happen in any car. Trucks have been successfully road racing for years. **** happens. If it was a Civic then people would say FWD's shouldn't be in the mountains right?

With that said, I know a few non-stock Civics/Del Sols that would tear up Elise's on the track...of course they have practically the same amount invested as if you were to purchase an Elise but that's just small details

'92-95 hatch or Del Sol with $3k or so invested into suspension and about $4k into an ITR engine/transmission will get you a REALLY quick and great handling car...for under $10k.



Anyways, what is that thing driving down just before the cafe? Am I seeing things?
