.93Lude and I painted my valve cover today. I'm very happy with how it came out and I think we did pretty good for our first time.
The final product!
In the bay...
Paint wasn't perfect but it was pretty close to the color I wanted!

good work bud!
It took around 12 hours, but it was mostly waiting for paint to dry and sanding and resanding. Haven't put it back in yet, I'm letting it sit overnight. I'll take a daylight pic with it on the car tomorrow.
I feel so left out lol
^^ Yeah, I drew a frame of a man running on each fan blade. That is him running at idle
That actually does look really nice.
Thanks again everybody!

good job! Looks awesome dude!
if you get some more time to clean, wipe down the engine bay and spray it down, it'll compliment the cover more!
+1
Thanks! I ran out of time yesterday, but I'm slowly hitting it up with simple green!
Thanks! I'm about to load up another picture, showing my color scheme and part of my 4x4 ride height.Originally Posted by jeysjdm

Nice work! what does this star mean?
Thanks! Nautical stars all have different means for different people but it's basically every point represents a different characteristic usually independance, intuition, integrity, innovation and individuality.
does it mean anything that all of those start with "in?"
Yes Jonny, yes it does.
.... Jk.
looks good man, and i kinda like the headlights, its something diff, and it looks like it matches the wheels and valve cover, so good job man.
HF
i like the lights... you did the impossible... and be unique with a civic! +++ :0 i want to see more of the headlights.
Thanks it's what I've been going for! It's damn hard to do on a strict I'm-poor-as-hell budget, but I'm slowly making progress! I'll post more picks of the headlights tomorrow.Originally Posted by JITB
Thanks. It's really a hit or a miss with those headlights. You either like 'em or you don't. And I like them so that's all that matters.Originally Posted by ChuckNorris

Thanks man! I'm really happy with how it came out.Originally Posted by 90_ACCORD
in person, the headlights dont look as outstanding as they do in those pictures, they really go well with the wheels and now the vc
