yeah he could have. But to say this is stupid is kinda ignorant. It might not be your style but it's not stupid. There are a lot of things that could have been put in it for cheaper. But there is a reason he went with what he did. Because he wanted to! Want you to read that part again. HE WANTED TO. Not to please sum1 else like everybody seems to be caught up in doing. He is a mopar fanatic. There are a lot of ppl that put motors in there car cause they want to even though it cost more. Oh and by the way. Sponsors are great and so are hook ups with the stuff he has in there. So actually he didn't spend that much. He did all the work himself in his shop at his house. The price listed in the first post was from start to finish. There is a lot more in the car besides motor. But anyways, to each his own bro.
