did my valve cover muwahahahah
ok bout a week ago i was lookin for this vht paint to do this. anyway i did a red wrinkle...yea yea yea been there done that but its not on a honda this time. and no im not no type r wanna be. im tryna make it look like the mazdaspeed miata vc. i was originally gonna have the bucky do it but im a cheap ass
as i was maskin stuff off i realized that the lettering on the valve cover sunk in and i wanted it to contrast...so i was stumped but then i decided to just paint it in with nail polish. i got some gold nail polish and paintbrushes from wally world, i put some nail polish on a spoon and stuck it in the oven it diddnt change color up to 250 degrees, but i still dont know how long itll last. screw it tho imma do it. I started spraying, 3 coats, 5 mins in between and all in different directions.
Cooked it for bout 2 hours at 200 degrees
bout 7 of hours later i started filling in the letters with the paint and this is how it turned out
i think gold letters with red paint looks good. and i guess it matches the car cuz its red with gold spinners. it dont look very even in this pic but its a ****ty camera phone picha.
anyway let me know what you think umm i got 2 and a half cans of wrinkle paint left if anyone wants a wrinkly red valve cover lets do the damn thing
