Made a lip.....TAKE A LOOK!------------56K warning!

Doesnt look bad. The only thing i dont like about the HD lips is that they dont serve any purpose. Unless you make one right and brace it from behind some kind of way on the bottom. I rigged up one on my old just to see howd it look and work and you could see where the wind was pushing it back, like the civic in the pic. If you braced the lower part of the lip seems like its be effective.

Mine is pretty stiff. A lot of people don't like it, but I really like it. My bumper is kinda like the pig nose 240s...I have to put the lip on the inside...but I like how the lip matches the wheels and black top..

Mine is a really bad example...look at the one in the link. That one is done right...you could paint over the rivets or whatever.

Yeah on miatas the rivets magically disappear. Gotta love the auto rivet hiding feature on mazdas

actually, if you do it right you end up riveting the lip to the bottom of the bumper instead of the front, so the lip covers up the rivets.




however, the more i look at the pics the more i like it. your car can actually rock rivets and not look bad.

I know but I like the rivets. My car never was pretty...so why not make it more macho. I'm not gonna sit here and hate on ppl that dont like it...I mean we all have our own taste. But im gonna redo it to make the rivets look more even cause I messed up at HD buying diff. size brackets.

Thanks, it a real fun car to drive and while driving you get those weird looks at you trying to figure out why it doesn't quite look exactly like a Supra but people still think it is.

Yea, exactly...I had a ol' beater Conquest back in 97' that I couldn't afford to keep running, then my Dad bought this one for $1500 about a year ago now-

and I knew I had to have one. Then I found mine for $1500 with a rod knocking.
It looked like this when I got it and before I cleaned and buffed it up.
