    Default Less rice.

I've had a thing for just a pipe, instead of the big muffler, so I did it to the GSX.

    thanks bro.

and like PT said, if this was NA, i'd keep the muffler, but on boosted cars I LOVE the straight pipe look.

ADDING a decent brand muffler would make you have less rice. This is because it doesn't make you sound like a jacka$$. I'm all for nice clean sounds but loud=/=fast and loud cars aren't all they're cracked up to be.

^^ Yeah, I drew a frame of a man running on each fan blade. That is him running at idle

4g63 + turbo = not very loud. but it has cams, so it's not a shtty sound.

A turbocharger does muffle a car, but even a fairly straight through muffler design would be a bit better IMHO. Either way, it looks good.

To me the little bit louder is worth the look, but thanks bro.

PS, kind of used to loud, 318i with straight through, turbocoupe with just a downpipe, straight through 2.5" on a GSR, straight through on a 95 mustang gt, downpipe on a 97 GST, etc. LOL.

Well I just switched from a header to straightpipe + gutted muffler N/A rotary to a Racingbeat muffler. I hated loud. I mean, to the average motorist, my car is loud, at meets, I am quiet haha. But yeah, if you can live with it I HAD to admit that looks MEAN!

nah. it's below it. farther away than the big muffler, and the muffler didn't even do the damage, my guess is an old setup.

Straight pipes and DSM's dont go together IMO. I personally dont think it looks good. I have never seen a boosted DSM with a straight pipe. The muffler looks better than just the pipe.

Ive owned 4 different DSM's and have been around them for 3 years. I have never seen one with this setup, and personally I like the muffler look better.

    But to each his own.

It would look better extended out to look stock or dumped.

she wouldn't really idle for the video since that was the first crank up of the day and it's a little distorted, but you get the jist.
