I sat in a white '09 at Sutherlin. Drove a 2007 at Zoom Zoom live in 06. Needs turbo.

I prefer the looks of the previous model. The facelifted 8 does not have that sporty factor going for it.

Not really feelin' the facelift, but I love the 8. Aside from gas mileage

. I car feels good. True enough, the 8 is under powered, but we all knew that going in. As far as aesthetics go, the 8 is a good looking car, not to mention a lot rarer than lot of cars here. According to IA consensus, every car is sh!tty, stock, with exception of your higher end cars. It just cost a hell of a lot more money to make an 8 do what the masses think it should do.

Nah man, stock civics are the **** around here. Why this is, noone knows. I guess it's because rx-8's aren't "clean" enough.

It's an RX, phuc a piston. If you want pistons, your choices are vast in number.

but yes, rotarys should DEFINATELY get MORE research before they continue being made..

my dad picked up his for $26,000 out the door in 05 IIRC.

Ive driven it and i must say i love the car. It handles great, its sporty looking, i love the interior, its really comfy, plenty of room, etc.

Its as fast as an Integra Type-R easily, so its got plenty of power IMO.

I love the way it sounds too.

If it didnt get such ****ty gas mileage id buy it off him and DD it

YOU should DEFINITELY do more research before writing crap like this.(also in regaurds to what your comment means, not your failed attempt at spelling "definitely"). It's quite funny, a lot of the comments in this thread are WAYYY off. Hating the doors? Well those would be the reason that the 8 outsold the 350Z. The Rx-8 was never a means to be the next 7, those doors are because it's supposed ot be the grown ups sports car, not the cliche sports car. Also, the engine is as reliable as its owner, there are rotarys that'll outlast several piston engines.

Also: The wheels are amazing(rotors in the spokes) the tail lights are much welcome and everything else about the face lift sucks.

what type of MPG does it get? your dads. im assuming seeing as he must be older and maybe drive more relaxed like i have been doing since gas went bonkers.

X2. Rotoarys are good engines. Haters need to research em before they hate. Sure their gas mileage might not be the best, but they make more hp per liter then most if not all pistion engines.

but back on topic, I dono if i really like it, I'd have to see it in person to say if i liked the face lift. But the rims are kinda cool wit the rotor in em, but it really wasnt dont tastefully IMO.

The suicide rear doors would be the only reason I would ever get one. Besides that its ugly.
