    Default E39 Ultimate Wagon

I want to start by saying that these are some of the worst pictures I have ever taken. However when something presents itself like this you must take pictures!

This came into work last week. I thought nothing of it until I was talking to the owner.

This really is an E39 M5 Wagon. I know that this swap has probably been done, the car might be more "stylish and cooler looking" but this is done to the the smallest detail. The rear floor was redone to have an M5 floor and center battery, a full M5 harness was installed and EXTENDED into the rear hatch. Everything from the mirrors, to the bumpers to the washer fluid tank is M5.

The car will be getting repainted(full respray with doors off and no glass etc etc etc) and then put back together. Look for it to make it through the magazine rounds later!

I am sorry the pictures suck and the interior was out getting redone...

Wouldn't it have been cheaper to import a M5 Wagon from Europe?

Hmm I know the e60 m5s are available in wagon form, I figured the e39s were too. In Europe I mean.

Yah this is 1 of 2 basically. This has every little M5 bit that is possible. It even has the battery in the center of trunk floor. This had to be custom installed and was needed so the factory M5 exhaust could be installed!!!

This is a copy of the only factory example in existence!

We were doing a little something and it will be coming back

They are crooked, color is off, not super sharp and the sun was beaming right down on the car.

    All bad news!
