My 69 Firebird and Beetle Dunebuggy. I've hade the dunebuggy for years and done nothing to it. Maybe I'll fix it up one day. Also have a 73 Impala, 56 Ford Fairlane and 1980 porsche 924 but no pictures. My dad has a 36 Chevy Master Coupe, 1966 Cadillac Eldorado, and 1956 chevy truck. All but the Fairlane and Beetle are in good shape.

    Well, it's a '48 cab/bed on a 54 frame with a Ford model A grille -- it's actually 2 grille top halves welded together.

It was my first car project. Its a base model that had a 4.1 overhead cam engine. I put a built pontiac 350 and muncie 4 speed in it around 1998 when I was 16. It will have a LS1 or newer engine someday.

you gonna keep that motor in it?

Is that a 1.3 or 1.5? i think you should drop a b6t in it, or even a BP..

seems like all i do is old school cars.

    my 86 mr2:

    77 280z - chevy powered

newest edition to my family, and probably the rarest car i'll ever own. 84 aw10 mr2, RHD, vin# aw100000321. it should be at the varsity next meet.

these are my current toys, previous rides include 5 FC rx-7s, an FB rx-7, z32 300zxTT, and my favorite by far, an E30 318i. some people like thier current model fancy optioned cars, but i wouldnt have it any other way.
    86 MR2 4age, 86 MR2 20V, 84 MR2 3lc RHD, 01 MR2 Spyder, 92 SE V6 5spd Camry.

so maybe i have an mr2 problem.....

haha yea its fun, but it has a severe traction problem, you lose the rear end way too easy. it has the factory 4.10 or so open diff. th350 spins the 235's all the way through first, halfway through second, and into third. need to get the lsd from a z31 turbo, just havent found a good price on one yet.

but if you get bored and wanna build something really fast for pretty cheap, i highly reccomend a v8 z or rx-7.

Heck yeah! you def need an LSD. I've heard of old dirt trackers filling the diff with lead filings and lead pieces. It works like a cross between a welded diff and an LSD.

It's in line behind 2 other projects - my datto 510, and a 94 SeR I grabbed from Alabama (I may sell this) - but I will have it driving and registered w/in the next 2 months until I figure out the end game for it. I'm Mazda stupid, so I need to research the engines/options before I start hacking it up.

thats why you should sell it to me! with the GlC you have alot of options B6t turbo 1.6 from the gtx/capri xr2/323 gt. Even the b6 sohc from the 323. The big swap would include a Bp 1.8 in it, but you would hhave to do some hacking. The best swap money wise would be the b6t.
