I really dont think Honda's intentions were to compete with the miata in performance(given there is a +or- $10k diff.). If so, then they pretty much blew the mazda out of the water. Honda brought back the roadster to get in on the sales. I say the s2000 is an entry level super car, when the Miata is mid level sports car(with great potential).
