It kinda looks like a reflection of the string that hangs down from the garage door opener for manual override or like a necklacey thing hanging from the rearview mirror.

Umm.. in case you didn't know, the current gen. of the A6 is the C6. Similarly, E9x (E90/91/92/93) refers to the current gen. of 3-series cars.
