I tried to resize multiple times on photobucket but my patience ran thin and I said **** it.
Anyways APril 12, 2008. I was heading down the road in the slow lane. Lady pulled out in a 2001 Izuzu Rodeo from the opposite side of the road. She was in the fast lane for about 2 seconds (literally) and decides to get in the slow lane without looking, or either she just couldn't see me. I put on brakes, but I knew I was going to hit her. Basically my drivers side fender/hood/rim damage is from me just hitting her truck. My car was lowered approx 2+ inches on 18" rims. Anyways she knocked my car up on the curb right at the corner of the curb. My car flipped. I'm assuming its because my rim hit my fender and since it couldn't curb hop because it didn't have the room, it just flipped over. However, I really don't know the exacts to why it flipped.
It did one complete flip and came back down on the tires. However my tires were still spinning. So, my car kept going and I had to slam it on brakes to stop it. It did go back in to traffic in the slow lane that I'd just come off of. Luckily I was conscious, or only lord knows what I would have hit, or what would have hit me if I didn't stop the car. I was however in shock, because I never in 29387343 years expected my car to flip, even though I knew I was going to hit her like 2 seconds before I slammed in to her. They took me to the hospital, and I've had the xrays, c-scans, etc. No broken bones. Just had a lot of bruising and I'm going to the chiropractor for the next few weeks. I can't put my head all the way back, and I can't put it all the way down. He's worked with me enough that I can look left and right. My pain at one point was so bad, that even Lortab wouldn't take the pain away.
She was held at fault. I still owed on the car so the insurance company paid the car off with the lien holder. Car is in ATL right now @ Verastar waiting to be sold at auction. I didn't want to buy it back because the car has been in atleast 3 wrecks...so the frame will never be the same. Anyways they aren't piecing the car to sorry to anyone that wanted to snatch maybe motor, suspension parts. Motor was still running even after it flipped. I'm the only one allowed to get parts off of it, but I have to switch it out with OEM parts since I was paid for what was on the car when they towed it up to ATL for the evaluation. Anyways, thats why I haven't been on. Been dealing with the aftermath of this:
