My horror story began with me being an idiot. My battery crapped out on me so I needed a jump. Me, in my infinite wisdom, put the hood down without latching it. When I decided to leave, I forgot that I didn't latch the hood so, as I accelerated to get on the the highway, my hood flipped back & smacked the windshield. I pretty much destroyed the hood but I guess it could have been much worse
