This guy is a spy and the MC-12 is a very unattractively styled car, has nothign to do with it's status.

Most Maseratis are unnappealing to me.

I still look at the MC-12 as the little brother yelling "I can do it too, look at me." Its ugly and uses the same parts as the Enzo but can't keep up with it. Its like the Enzo's younger retarded brother, its got the same genes but just didn't quite put them together right. Even the race versions aren't competitive. As far as selling them off, they aren't controlled by Ferrari anymore. They're to Fiat like Jag is to Ford, a premier division full of ugly unreliable cars. Jag at least pulled the XK line out in style because most of their styling team worked under AM while Ford owned them.

I thought the MC12 was faster than the Enzo?

The MC-12 had to have much more top side aero in order to pull basically the same time on a short lower speed course. The Enzo does it with no wings and looks much better doing it. When the speeds increase the Enzo pulls away. The red Panoz AIV shown is still one of my favorite drop tops though.

Are you the guy on GTPlanet that stalked the MC12 in Buckhead? Those are his pics, right? Just wondering if that's you. I saw when that thread was posted on BimmerForums... funny... but kinda creepy.

I see a lot of those cars around since I live on one side of Buckhead and work on the other.

    Yeah, out in Colorado.

The pics with the name at the bottom are definaitely his. He posts tons of pics over there. Not sure if he's the guy posting these on here though. Not the same screen name.

I see some of these cars regularly. I saw a black Maybach two days ago, I see at least two NSX's every day, a Rolls Phanton every day, two or three Bentley's every day, an Aston, Ferari or lambo once or twice a week. You just have to drive around downtown or Buckhead and look. I don't stalk them and find where they live though, that's a little weird.

I used to work for the guy that owns the MC12. I went with him to pick it up but it has been in the shop for almost a year cause of computer problems. I guess 1.2 mill doesn't buy much these days.
