It's only a clean install if you can't see the ballast the moment you pop the hood. I hope you don't stay down any dark roads.

    K series 626. That's right. It's got a K in it.

    +1 on both accounts

I wouldn't call the ballasts being visible in the engine bay a "clean install". My ballasts are hidden below my headlights in the metal bumper beam/support, that's what I'd consider a clean install.

And I can't imagine rocking 12000k HIDs every night, the amount of usable light on the road must be terrible, especially coming out of a reflective housing.

    Whatever works for ya' though...

HIDs on regular halogen projectors? Got any cutoff pics? Looks nice in any case... reps.

Those aren't projectors, they're just reflective housings that were intended for halogen bulbs.

And there's no such thing as a cutoff line with HIDs coming out of a reflective housing, more like two hotspots and a bunch of random scatter

    Damn that ballast is HUGE!!!!

I would have recommended something in the Range of 4300-6K so you don't stop dropping off in terms of output.

Also the only way to run HIDs in a housing like that is with a shielded bulb. To my knowledge the only bulb this may be available is the H4 bulb. This has a shielded bulb and can be run in a standard H4 Hella housing on older BMWs. It actually creates a true HID Cut Off. Otherwise it is like said above...

Worst part is it sucks for everyone else on the road around you

    ^^ Wouldn't doubt it.

I was being slowly passed by a guy with some 12000k's on a Chevy pickup and my lil ol' 4300k's was drowning his out. Poor fella. And on top of all that, the truck had like 3 or 4 different rims on it.

    K series 626. That's right. It's got a K in it.
