ive been doing quite a bit of searching in the past couple months to get ideas for mines

either gen! i like the newer ones a lil better but the older ones will give me more money to play with! ahaha. plus, i hear the older ones are a little more reliable? my logic is: all the older ones i looked at had all maintainace done the newer ones needed it still.....you see what i mean? and lexus repairs=$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

i almost had to fork out 600 w/o labor on an A/C compressor alone for my first gen! (faaaaaaar from Honda prices)

but them bad boys are pretty stout. i heard once you change the oil you should be good for 1 million miles

the only difference ive found between the first and second gens is the headlights and inside the cabin luxuries.

the 1UZ-FE setup in the 1st gen is identical to the 2nd gen

but it is a HUGE eye opener coming from a Honda...
i remember my first time "filling" up i got scared cuz i saw $58 and it wasnt even full!
i stopped immediately.

but yeah it takes me to and from work just fine.
i love my LS

that's all you really need to do for them! i would get a WALD lip kit but it looks fresh enough slammed on some nice wheels
