    I didnt strip them, as there was no need to. I scuffed them with 3M "fine" sanding pads. Works well!!

    so your tellin me that all you did was sand them down from black to gunmetal! if so how long did it take?

    Well I scuffed them with the sanding pads so that the paint would stick....It took 5hrs per wheel to sand. Those fins were a pain. Then I had to wash them to remove dust/dirt. Taping them up took about 1.5-2hrs for each wheel. Then the paint and clear was the easy part. I dont wana paint any wheels for a while, especially ones with such small spaces to sand and clean...
