Sitting at the gas station today, and this chick in a civic gets pulled over. The cop comes over and pulls out the tint guage and as he writes her a ticket, his buddy pulls another over as we're leaving..... not playing around about that tint.

I think very dark tint makes a car look cheap.

I've always liked Mercedes blue and tint that's no more than 35%.

It makes driving hard if it's darker.

onlything that ever suked about that was in the rain, you cant see a damn thing. at night its really not that bad, you get use to it.

Mine read 13% a few weeks ago, it's the first time a cop has said anything in 4 years. No ticket, but I'm supposed to have 25%

i have to have my tint. i don't like being looked at in traffic. mine's 20% and i live in a small town so i'm getting used to being pulled over, but wow...tickets are getting expensive.

i had 5% all around but when i was coming back home from school out of state i got pulled over on 285 by a charger sucked he didnt do the tint check he let me go but i had to get rid of that no tint on driver and passenger side looks retarded with 15% strip on the windshield and 5% rear

lol my brotha got pulled over he just bought his car.But the guy who had the car did not have the tint all the way.So like at the top of the window its regular,the cop told us.He couldnt test it because the tester only reads the top of the window.The cop just told my brotha i Know its too dark.So you got 7days to take it off. HeHe I like tint but dont have any,just have fun rolling up the window when ppl look at me dumb

Had 20 % on all of my vehicles except my 240 and never been hassled about it. However I don't ever get a strip, that attracts cops and also trucks generally don't get pulled over as much as cars.

I see she was in a honda. Was the other guy? I only ask cause 2 guys at work have double 5% on both there trucks and they have neither been pulled over for it. you cant see into there trucks period.

yes, it was around singleton. and the girl was in a stockish civic coupe with some OG wheels. the other guy was in a riced out silver civic coupe.

Tint's good for cars that look cheap on the outside, but end up having $$$ on the interior. I've seen the most dead looking Tercel exterior wise known to man. Death tint, couldn't see in. Good reason too, 7k sound system + he had an ps2 sitting in the back seat for like 3 months. He had the car for two years, no alarm, never had anything stolen. But, he also lived in suburban Forsyth County.(13th weathiest county in USA) Crime rate's not exactly on par of ATL.

gyea, that was me that got pulled over. The officer didnt give me a ticket since I already got one from Suwanee. My tint is supposed to be 5% but when I got pulled over, the meter read 3%. This is the third time I got pulled over already... Ima leave the back but Ima take off the front period.

Oh well you gotta play by the rules i guess... I metered some tint on a car i was working on yesturday and it showed up as 0.0% and yes i calibrated the meter before useing it.

If the cop can't see you through the window tint that means you could be pointing a gun right at him and he wouldn't even know.

lol... the funny part was another civic got pulled over seconds after I did. I just think they're fed up with it. I goto school in dekalb county and Doraville never seems to harass me at all. But oh well, I guess driving with no tint in the front wont be that bad... I'll miss the tint tho... Damn sun be beaming at me and Im short too!

thats exactly where it took place... there were like 5 of them in a row. Then slowly, one by one came out and pulled almost everybody that was driving by.
