yea, ill just do a simple breakdown of stuff off of the top of my head

-$100 to enter their class
-$35 per crew member X 4 = $140
minimum of 2 hotel rooms @ lets say $70 a night x 2 nights = $280
getting maybe 10mpg @ lets just say for a macon team 330miles'ish x $3.30/gallon = -$100-150
-food (i know i spent $85 in food to bring to cookout with, and probably $130 sat/sun alone @ longhorns, mickeyd's, etc, a privateer team could feed 5+ people) - but lets just say $200

those few expenses alone add up to around $850, thats not counting countless amounts of $ spent on the cars themselves to get them ready to run


me and my wife alone, and we're obviously nobodies spent just under $500 this weekend for near nothing other than being able to relax and shoot the **** with my buddies

Im going to be at the NDRA virginia race, as far as the NDRA series is concerned. The only way ill go to any others is if i get help or someone teams up with me on gas and transport in some form which is a smart way to do it in general.

Hmm, this is during my beach vacation in North Carolina. I will have my 240 there, so if Death Nazi Employer will allow me to have that week off, I will break away from the family for a few days.
