You did a VERY good job for being your first time![]()
FUCK GRAN TURISMO EAST!! NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR THERE, ESPECIALLY NOT FOR AN ALIGNMENT!! TERRIBLE BUSINESS!!![]()
what did you do just sand it down and polish like hell?
Thanks, I really didn't want it to look half assed so I spent a bit of time on it.Originally Posted by gtikid
I wetsanded it and made sure to go right to left always never up and down, started with 800 grit(awful idea, I thought my manifold was much smoother than it actually was) and worked my way up to 2000 grit. I always kept a lot of wd40 on the sandpaper and manifold and made sure to wipe it every so often. Then rubbed mothers aluminum and metal polish into it until I saw the polish turn black then I would wipe it off and repeat. I think it was well worth the effort.Originally Posted by d_day87

Go for it, its really easy.Originally Posted by green_pedro7
Get to it.
Thanks, Im going to try every part but the top near the coil packs. With all the issues our cars have with coil packs I am hesitant to even take them out to remove the valve cover.Originally Posted by d_day87
