Wow man, congrats. Been forever since Ive seen ya.
I've been driving an 85 chevy pickup for the last year and a half. This place made me sad. I've got a bit of cleaning up to do on this thing and some minor problems/restoration to work though, but i couldn't believe the guy accepted my offer despite all that.
The funny thing is i almost bought a 91 civic for 750ish that needed waaay more attention.

i had a hatch that died in 2004ish, then a miata that i traded away in late 2006/early 2007.
i agree, the body is almost dent free, one small one on the driver's fender, and the interior is missing a couple pieces, but what is there is immaculate. someone did an aftermarket power window setup that i hope to get rid of and use standard regulators, but i'll get there when i get there.Originally Posted by PsychoSquirl

getting my ducks in a row. i got married two years ago and i have a daughter that is now 8 mos old. been more than enough to keep my hands full. I had been driving that chevy truck, but i'm going to need to be driving further now and i couldn't pass up this opportunity to save this car.

Awesome deal... same price i bought my EF hatch for a few years ago. Mr2's are just awesome cars. luck as f*ck to find a turbo one for that price.

yeah, that guy was selling it so he could hike Kilimanjaro, or that is what he said. I talked to him a little bit about it.
On another note. This new car drives like a dream. I'll be putting new tires on it and getting an alignment done hopefully tomorrow. It pulls hard though, its well rested i suppose. Well worth $800.
