Its because every single 1 of them has lost the "SPORT" part about it. Everything is so plush and made for a "larger market" that the cars are heavy, slow, conservative looking and there is always a trim from grandma to drive.
Not to mention it seems everyone now days cares more about form over function.
How does toyota go from having one of the most desired "sports car" to not even having one on the lineup period.... Swing by the yota dealer and stand around your grandparents and mom waiting to purchase a new avalon, camry, or minivan.
In my opinion, BMW has got the hottest cars out right now. I am sure some will disagree, but I think so. Even they are heavy and plush though.
