Default Nissan Hakosuka Time Attack Weapon

    From Auto-Otaku

Another interesting YJA find here, a race-tuned 2 door KGC10 Skyline. As you can see. this is obviously not your typical Hakosuka build. The GT wing and rear air diffuser look like they would be more at home on an S2000 or Evo then an early Skyline.

The engine is an L-series stroked to 3.1L. Check the purple anodized trumpets on the Solex carbs which are a nice touch. Among the huge list of modifications are a KPGC110 radiator and master cylinder, and a one-off oil cooler and exhaust system. Underneath is R31 Skyline suspension.

In the interior are twin Recaro seats with 5 point harnesses and a 7 point roll cage. The wheels are Watanabe R-type 15x8.5 -15 in the front and Panasport 15x11.5 -15 in the rear. The headlights have also been retrofitted with HID bulbs.

She can be yours for a little less than $15,000 US. Check out the auction right here http://page13.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r43415591 .

*pictures a speedminded designed 635 with time attack roots*

It would be like a Group 5 BMW 6 that never happened.

au contraire! Maybe not a group 5 but there were Group A+ e24 rally/race cars...

...BUT 6's are too big for what i'm wanting. I'm interested in something alot lighter and nimble and @ 1.5 bar or so it should have the power to weight ratio of a Ferrari F40. BMW meets Group B rally car.

i see.... i know bout the Group A BMW 6s from DTM and ETCC but i was really picturing something with outlandish bodywork huge diffuser, wings, wheels, and all.

i think you posted a white 6 so i assumed it was yours.

    Why not a.......

E21....Back in Russia, this was the best car i'd ever seen.

id sell testicles for it \/

Nothing too crazy...I don't know if I can afford buying tires for a 13" wheel in the back A mild "wide body" custom hatchback with adjustable rear wing, an aggressive stance, coated lexan windows, custom splitter and diffuser...

ahh, the M6 i shot was one of the original Dinan turbo cars...the engine in it is probably capable of 1,000hp.

I do like the Group 5 E21's...just mayyybee a lil too aggressive to drive on the street, lolol!

That's what i'm building... hillclimb and time attack! I seriously doubt it will see much wheel to wheel action on the track so if I crash it I can only blame myself!

ah, that's the 2.3/2.5L S14 engine: 4 cylinder, over 200hp, and practically 20 years old. I still got the "shoulder lean" but using a newer 2.8L inline-6 194hp/207lbs-ft. torque stock that's a hair heavier but will reliably hold over 20lbs boost with stock internals (head gasket & studs). Full spool around 2,800rpm's with a GT30R putting out 380whp @ 10-12psi...400whp in a sub 2,500lb. car is more than enough for the street and hardly drivable on a road course lol! :boobies:
